My new flexible spine

I have started a yoga class, which i thought would be a good way to stretch and relax. I was half right, we stretched alright, my legs and arms didnt know what had hit them! I thought about the animated movie  (what was that called?) with the stretchy mum, that would have been a handy asset! Anyway it was a good start, i learnt that your eyelids close from the top down, yes really. Ah i know i am a cynic, but i will go with it. Breath in, breath out, got it. Actually i think i had that one down since birth, but never mind. Standing tall then try to touch your toes, actually i havent done that in a long time! It turns out i havent really done any effective stretching for some time ! Despite the lack of flexibilty i did enjoy the class, and hopefully it will help my very stiff spine. This will be my inspiration, go girl!

  1. I have been doing yoga for 18 years and I still can't do that so don't be too disappointed if you don't reach the level of the lady in the photo! I must admit I don't often do any practice at home but I really notice the difference if I don't go to my weekly class. Go for it!
